Testing Procedure

Although performed automatically, the BreathID test requires medical supervision, through these easy-to-
follow, consecutive steps:

1. The operator places the flexible nasal cannula on the patient and then connects it to the port on the BreathID® System.

2. With a click of a button the system collects patient`s baseline data.

3. Under the supervision of a physician, the 13C-labeled substrate is administered to the patient.

4. The button is clicked again and continuous collection of samples is initiated.

5. The BreathID System automatically prints the results when the test is completed.
