Andy Kitzmiller
President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Bioscience, Andy Kitzmiller leads a global organization of more than 800 employees dedicated to advancing diagnostic and life science solutions that improve health and well-being around the world.
Since joining Meridian in February 2022, Kitzmiller has helped align the company’s operational and financial strategies, strengthen execution, and define the four strategic pillars that continue to guide Meridian’s long-term value creation plan. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, partnering closely with teams across Meridian, its shareholders, investors, and affiliates, including SD Biosensor, SJL Partners, and Bionote, to drive growth, integration, and innovation.
Kitzmiller’s leadership philosophy is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and disciplined execution. He is deeply committed to cross-functional teamwork and to connecting strategic vision with meaningful outcomes for employees, customers, and shareholders alike.
Earlier in his career, Kitzmiller held senior finance and operational leadership roles at Hillenbrand, Milacron, and GE Aviation (now GE Aerospace), and began his professional journey in Deloitte’s audit practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Across his career, he has been passionate about developing teams, delivering sustainable results, and building global organizations that thrive through both performance and purpose.
Tony Serafini-Lamanna
President, Diagnostics

Tony Serafini-Lamanna is a highly accomplished and respected leader with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare diagnostics industry. Throughout his career, Tony has held various leadership roles and is widely recognized for his expertise in driving commercial excellence and developing strategic plans that deliver results. In 2018, Tony joined Meridian Bioscience as Vice President and General Manager of the Diagnostics business unit. In this role, he was instrumental in developing and executing the Diagnostics strategic plan, resulting in significant growth for the company. Tony's expertise in mobilizing marketing, technical services, and commercial operations drove commercial excellence, and he was also responsible for driving new product development and the successful acquisition and integration of three companies. Due to his exceptional contributions, Tony was promoted to Executive Vice President, Diagnostics in May 2020. In this expanded role, he oversaw the Diagnostics division’s business operations, making significant contributions to the success of the division. In April 2023, Tony was appointed President of Diagnostics, now with ownership of the division’s P&L. This appointment is a testament to his leadership and expertise in the field. Prior to joining Meridian, Tony served as General Manager and led commercial operations and global marketing for Siemens Healthineers, where he played a significant role in the company's growth and success. Tony is known for his strategic thinking, leadership skills, and passion for driving results. He is committed to working collaboratively with his team to achieve shared goals and make a positive impact on the healthcare industry.
Emerson C. Moser
Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Emerson Moser joined Meridian in October 2022 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He heads the legal department at Meridian, providing business and legal counsel to the executive leadership team and advising the Company on all legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, compliance, litigation, and data privacy. Emerson has significant prior in-house legal experience, having served as General Counsel to Hillenbrand, Inc.’s Milacron group of businesses and as Sr. Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for General Cable Corporation. Emerson began his career in private practice with the law firm, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, and then served as Assistant General Counsel of NIBCO, INC. He received his law degree from Wake Forest University and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from Purdue University.
Charles Wood
Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development

Charlie Wood joined in January of 2020 as Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Investor Relations. He joined Meridian from Thornburgh & Peterson, where he was advising small to medium businesses on strategic finance, growth strategy, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. Prior to Thornburgh & Peterson, Mr. Wood held various leadership roles in Corporate Development, Strategy, and Finance at AT&T and Electronic Arts.
